How it Works

You can use this tool instead of the browser console to display a nicely-formatted table that display all if the data layer variables on the page. This tool can also be used to display the data within any custom object that you enter into the tool.

How To Use

The tool uses two (2) methods to identify data layers on the page:

  • Automatic detection of standard TMS data layer objects
  • A custom data layer object name.

Currently detected TMS vendors (and data layer name) are:

  • Tealium (utag.data)
  • Ensighten (n/a)
  • Google Tag Manager (dataLayer)
  • Adobe DTM (digitalData and s for Adobe Analytics)
  • Segment (analytics.identify)
