Hi,    I'm assuming you've got jQuery on the page, and can therefore use a jQuery onHandler extension to get the button press event.    If that's the case, I'd do something like this - a jQuery onHandler extension, with some custom javascript that also checks the status of the check box, so you don't need to also set it in the data layer.   The data I'm sending to utag.link is just an example of a basic Google Analytics event, but obviously you can add in whatever data you want.    ... Hi,  Without using jQuery (or similar) you have several options   1) Manually add an "onClick" event, calling the utag.link function, to each link that you want to track. If it's just one or two links, this would be ok.    2) If all the links have the same class you could do add a Javascript extension scoped to DOM Ready with something like:   document.getElementByClass('classname').onclick=function(){/* utag link code */}   The drawback with getElementByClass is that pre-IE9 browsers don't support it correctly.  3) Otherwise, if you don't mind it picking up all links, you could do something like   var links = document.getElementsByTagName('a'); for(var i = 0, len = links.length; i < len; i++) { links[i].onclick = function () { /* utag link code */ } } This is supported all the way back to IE6, but it is fairly inefficient if there are a lot of links on the page.    I hope that helps. Hello @VCCP_Media. Assuming I understand correctly, you want to pass utm_term to the doubleclick tag, and currently it's getting dropped? All query string parameters are automatically added to the data layer as qp.variablename  so, in this case it would be qp.utm_term.  You could map that to the doubleclick tag, or you could use a set data values extension to write it to a different variable and map that.     Does that answer your question?  Many thanks Steve Lake   ... Hi,    As long as you are using the latest version of the GUA template, you just need to map the timing variables in and the template will handle them.  The values that you will need to map to are timingCatagory, timingVar and timingValue. timingLabel is optional.     The only complication is that they are not in the mapping toolbox, but if you choose the datasource that you want to map, then when the mapping toolbox comes up, press Esc or press the cancel button, then you can type into the "destination" box.      Once you have those mapped, the data will be sent through.   You do need to make sure that you have the most recent version of the GUA template, however.    Thanks Steve Lake ... Hi @shailesh_gaikwa,   It's difficult to say, without having more specific information - however by "event" I assume you are triggering a utag.link or utag.view call via jQuery onHandler extension or something similar.    By default, utag.link or utag.view will trigger all the tags that are relevant, based on their load rules. So, for any given event, you will typically see more than one tag re-firing.    For a generic tag to fire on a specific event, the load rule for that tag will need to be true, or set to true, when that even occurs.    Hopefully that makes sense, as I say it's difficult to comment without more specific information. It sounds like, by using the lookup table, you're passing a string to something that expects an array, so it's treating each character as an individual array element. You have a couple of options - You can convert the string to an array by using a set data extension after the lookup table, for a new variable, and set it to jscode containing " [b.string] " (where string is the name of the string-variable that you want to send) Or you can change the lookup table output type to array - however you need to make sure that the output array name exists before the lookup table runs, so you may need a set data extension before the lookup table to create the empty array. ...
