In a single page app that uses angular routing to replace the view with 5 different "pages" I need to make the ad (i.e. gpt) and SiteCatalyst calls each time I reroute to a new view. There will be different mappings for each tag in each view. I tried to use utag.view(utag_data, null, ['11']) where 11 is the tag number of the gpt tag. Unfortunately the pubads.g.doubleclick.net/gampad/ads? ad call that is made when the page loads with all of the mapped variables is not being made when the above utag.view is executed. Instead just a pubads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/adview call is made and none of the new mappings are passed. The ads refresh, but they do not have the correct mappings. In an Angular app using angular routing, the actual page only loads once. So, as routes move the app through different views SiteCatalyst page beacons need to be fired for each new view. With the s object, props can be set directly and then s.t() can be called to fire the beacon. I'm wondering if there is a mechanism in Tealium that will allow me to update the utag_data object and then fire a utag method that will pick up the utag changes and fire the SiteCatalyst Beacon. ... It looks like the order of a lookup table is important when you're passing an array in as the source and expecting an array out of the lookup table. For example, we have a lookup table that takes ad positions in as an array like ["WX_VideoCompanion","WX_VideoPlayer","WX_Spotlight"]. The elements of the lookup table (because of entry order) has "WX_Spotlight" before "WX_VideoPlayer". This causes the lookup to return [ , , "nl"]. The last value is the default value if the lookup can't find a value. Even though the value for WX_Spotlight is in the table, the lookup can't find it, because of the order. The solution is to insure that all values in the lookup table are in alphabetical order and then sort any input array alphabetically. However, as stated before the order in the lookup table is a result of when the entries are made and there seems to be no way to re-order the lookup. Am I missing something? ... View more

I need to load a js file that puts a variable, wfxtrigs, in the global namespace. Then, I need to process this variable into a js_page variable that can be mapped into the Google Publisher Tag(GPT). I want to use Tealium to do this, so that it can easily be turned on or off. I tried using the Tealium Custom Container tag and setting the Custom Script Source to the url of the js file. Since this file returns a basic js variable assignment, I get a warning that the page was interpreted as script but returned as plain text. It does load the variable in the global namespace, but it is not there before the GPT processes. Is there a prescribed way in Tealium to do what I want to do? ... View more
