Once that utag.js is included on the page it will call utag.view() by default. The issue is that at the time the utag.js is included the page's data layer is not ready yet.Moving utag.js file is not an option. Therefore, the solution is to wait for the required data to load and only then call utag.view(). All works great but now I get two utag.view calls and I need to disabled the default one that is called once the utag.js file is included. Thanks for help!

Thanks Chris. And how would I then also push live the change that is ready in dev? I'm trying to understand how can two users work separately in two different environemnts and push their changes separately into live whithout affecting each other. Is there a way of doing it?

Patrick, is UUID always contains the same number of caracters? How much is it? In some UUID examples I saw it is 36 characters long. Is that correct?

I can't see how can I assign a value to s.pageType through SiteCatalyst tag. If it's not possible can you please add it.

Thanks. To clarify - we should use UUID in SiteCatalyst tag which will be mapped to s.visitorID and also the app should retrieve the UUID and pass it as a query string parameter.

The native app at some point is calling a mobile browser as a wrapper. However, the mobile wrapper creates a new session and assigns a new visitor ID. With Adobe SDK the app is able to get the visitor ID and pass it to the wrapper in the query string parameter. How can we do it with Tealium SDK? Is it possible in Tealium to get the SiteCatalyst visitor ID from the cookie and then pass it back to the app? Is there other way to track it? The app (ios and andoird) and the website both are tracked with Telaium in separate profiles.

Hi Fiann, We tried setting it up as you suggested. However, it was not working. It might have been because we are using different data layer. In the end we ended up adding 1==2 in the if statement in GA template. Thanks guys for suggestions.

I have ecommerce extension defined and some of the tags are using it. However, I also have Google Universal Analytics tag and I do not want to fire ecommerce data into GA. I how can I disable ecommerce tracking for GA tag?

Thanks Jared. Different question - why does Tealium fail silently on dev and qa? Debugging JS in Tealium with console.log is very inconvenient. DEV and QA environments should spit out all the Tealium related errors and warnings into console.

in "all tags" JS extension I can do this - utag.data["variable"]. However, this doesn't work in pre loader JS extension. How do I do it?

Thanks Jared. How do I connect sc_events to s.events? Do I need to somehow map it in SC tag settings? Also I should probably do: u.addEvent("event1:"+b.user_id) because I need : not = Is that right?
