Hello, we are trying to implement the Tealium mobile SDK on a react native app (hybrid as a few bunch of pages will load as webview). We don't have event stream so we will use Tealium IQ instead and the hidden webview to pass data to Adobe Analytics. I struggle a bit to understand how to populate the visitorID in Adobe Analytics (or whether Adobe populates it on its own). What is the best practice? Do you just map the tealium_visitor_id from the Tealium SDK data layer to the visitorID in the tag? Is there any end to end guide to implement Adobe Analytics on mobile? Or at least a best practice? I was looking for an answer from someone who actually faced and tackled a similar issue (or even better from a Tealium mobile expert), not for a copy and paste from chatGPT or similar services.

I struggle a bit to understand how the Adobe Experience Clould ID Service tag (visitorAPI) works for an app and if it is required at all. Does it pick up the UUID from the app an use it as ECID (Experience Cloud Id) or do we have to pass it from the app data layer to the tag? Hello, we are implemeting Tealium SDK on an hybrid app which have native pages (with the Tealium SDK and hidden webview, so the mobile.html library) and webview pages (with Tealium utag.js deployed). I have read this documentation and from what I understand there is an interaction between utag.js and mobile.html so all the webview data are sent to the app data collection as well. As we are planning to use the same Adobe Analytics report suite for both app and web, doesn't it mean that every webview will generate 2 entries? One as web page and one as app page? Hello, has anyone found a clever way to document the data layer on different pages/event? Some sort of document or file that can be maintained by the business owner but then read and used directly from the devs, so it has to have a very standardised format. The main point for me would to be able to add clearly: where/when to populate the data layer (either page load url or specifc event) format/type of the variables possible values for each variable (or logic to use to populate it) My aim would then to be able to use the same document for testing as well Thanks, Davide

Hello, I'm planning to track a few pdf generated by our website once the user clicks of of 10 different buttons. Every click on a different button should be identified by a variable that records the "document name" and another variable that I will populate with "pdf_download" everytime and I'll pass it to a sitecatalyst event. So we would have something like pdf_name='new quote' and event_name='pdf_download' The tricky part is to assign a pdf_name as the elements (buttons) are not really named in a proper way and I can't use page name either as some pages have got several buttons on it. I was thiking about 2 options: 1. use a jquery extension and populate the pdf_name variable with pagename+jquery selector name (so I could create a unique id for the button) 2. use a js extension so i can write all the cases I need to use in just one code (something like: if pagename=... and jquery=... then page_name="new quote" else if...). This is a way cleaner option I guess but I heard it's not the best in terms of audit (as I've told to use extensions rather than js code) Any advice is welcome Thanks
