I would like to dynamically inject JSON-LD specifications on my pages for rich snippets SERPs. This is a new way available to generate rich snippets to annotate social graphs and enable sitelinks searchbox, etc in Google. I know there is a way to flatten json objects in Tealium, but would the flatten json object still be picked up by Google to generate rich snippets? One of the schemas would look something like this: I've run a few tests but Tealium is returning errors when I try to add this type of code. I've had a look at this article, but wasn't able to solve it: Flatten JSON Objects Extension Can someone let me know if this is possible and if so, how to run this?

Hi Jared, Thanks for sending me the info. To my understanding this would solve part of the solution. This technique suggests that the parent page GA code is loaded before the iframed page GA code does. What if the iframed code is loaded before the parent page code is loaded? Theoretically you would have to wait running the GA code in the iframe until the parent GA code is executed. With Tealium my GA code loads on DOMready, so the delay on the parent page could be there.

We have any iframed page (iframe.demo.com) inside our website (www.demo.com). With Google Analytics you need to make sure the tracker inside the iframe is properly loaded to make sure it doesn't take the referrer for the regular website (www.demo.com). We don't want our referrers in this example to say www.demo.com. Is there a smart/ easy way to do this with Tealium?

Hi Fiann, Thanks for the explanation. It is good to know we can use nested variables with Tealium and that there are many types to choose from. Will make it easier for our developers. You are referring to the ecommerce extension. Not all of the data we will be collecting is necessarily ecommerce data. It can be contextual data as well for the page. Will this work with other extensions, etc as well?

We are looking to shift our tagging setup towards the W3C standard for new projects. This requires a different setup of our datalayer. It will look something like this: window.universal_variable = { "basket": { "id": "BASKET2203", "currency": "GBP", "subtotal": 123.00, "subtotal_include_tax": true, "tax": 12.00, "shipping_cost": 1.00, "shipping_method": "Standard Mail", "total": 123.00, "line_items": [LineItem, LineItem, LineItem, ...] } } Will these nested datalayers work with Tealium, in combination with the windows.universal_variable setup?

Hi Roshan, I just had some time to check the way this works when all extensions are setup properly (I think they are). I have tested at Audi.nl First I go to the homepage www.audi.nl Then I click on the link in the footer to "directe selectie" (http://directeselectie.audi.nl) Both the session_id cookie value and the visitor_id cookie value change when I do this. However, this is not related to subdomains. It seems the cookie expires when I go to any page, even inside the same subdomain. Can you have another look at this please?

Hi Roshan, Thanks! We will definitely have to change the gclid condition. Just to make sure I understand. The session_variable extension doesn't need this same change, does it?
