Thanks Dragooon, This is the right solution, apparently. GA is meant to be set as a global tag on all pages (best practice). But, As we are adding load condition and the value is being picked from the data layer, we have to make sure that the utag.link payload contains the load condition values. That is the only way it will work. R.

@skozma, I've done a bit more digging, and have found some Salesforce release notes that imply that the Lightning Locker can be toggled off (https://releasenotes.docs.salesforce.com/en-us/spring20/release-notes/rn_networks_lightning_locker_toggle.htm). I'd heard that this was in the pipeline, but this is the first documentation I've seen. I'm not in a position to be able to verify this solution, but if you're able to, I'd really appreciate any feedback as to whether it works. I also tried inputting the GA-ID in the Communities settings, but abandoned that with same issues you report. :(

Hi @Christopher_M Thanks for the extra info. I would suggest you make use of the jQuery onHandler Extension or following the directions for Event Tracking with Google Analytics. These two posts will explain everything you need!

Thanks, @craig_rouse - good point. I've edited the code to reflect this, and removed the timeouts. Works well. Thanks for your help.
